DavisDozen.org was created to honor the strength of unified dissent. Originally referring to 12 students arrested at UC Davis for peaceful protest, the term “Davis Dozen” has evolved into a living platform for collective resistance and transformational leadership.
Every cycle, we highlight twelve people — past or present — who are speaking out, showing up, and shifting the world around them. From racial justice to climate resistance, student organizing to indigenous rights, these are the voices that won’t be silenced.
